POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an SBA BDO, you would primarily be responsible for:

  • Sourcing new relationships and fostering existing relationships
  • Understanding and applying SBA eligibility requirements and being proficient with SBA forms
  • Gathering financial data in order to assist in the initial pre-screening and structuring process
  • Working closely with Underwriting and Closing staff to ensure loan compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Remaining well-informed of changes within the SBA and Commercial Lending environment
  • Issuing term sheets and be able to provide a clear understanding of the transaction structure while managing borrower expectations
  •  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have three (3) or more years of successful business development experience
  • Must have SBA department experience.
  • Must have 3+ years management experience.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in originating Commercial and SBA 7a/ SBA 504/ USDA loan products
  • Analytical skills and knowledge of lending regulations and credit/underwriting practices
  • Relationship-building capabilities
  • Must possess outstanding verbal/written communication skills and outstanding people skills
