SBA Department Manager

As an SBA BDO, you would primarily be responsible for:
- Sourcing new relationships and fostering existing relationships
- Understanding and applying SBA eligibility requirements and being proficient with SBA forms
- Gathering financial data in order to assist in the initial pre-screening and structuring process
- Working closely with Underwriting and Closing staff to ensure loan compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Remaining well-informed of changes within the SBA and Commercial Lending environment
- Issuing term sheets and be able to provide a clear understanding of the transaction structure while managing borrower expectations
- Must have three (3) or more years of successful business development experience
- Must have SBA department experience.
- Must have 3+ years management experience.
- Experienced and knowledgeable in originating Commercial and SBA 7a/ SBA 504/ USDA loan products
- Analytical skills and knowledge of lending regulations and credit/underwriting practices
- Relationship-building capabilities
- Must possess outstanding verbal/written communication skills and outstanding people skills
