Workway is a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. We are looking for a Purchasing Associate/Pharmacy Coordinator responsible to Organizes and coordinates the purchase and distribution of medical, office, and pharmaceutical supplies for all health centers. Researches, interviews, and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.

 Your specific duties will include:

  • Creates purchase orders for the acquisition and distribution of medical, office, and pharmaceutical supplies for all facilities and health centers.
  • Researches and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications. 
  • Works closely with Pharmacist In Charge and Consultant Pharmacists to ensure proper Class C and Class D pharmacy procedures are followed at all health centers. 
  • Trains and monitors health center staff on pharmacy and purchasing procedures.

Specific qualifications for the position include

  • H/S Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of administrative experience.  Purchasing experience preferred.
