Title Settlement Agent FT Temp-To-Hire

Currently we are seeking a highly motivated Title Settlement Agent for a national title company.  The Settlement Agent will prepare and process documents and coordinate loan settlement activities

Essential Responsibilities are listed below:

• Audit each assigned file to ensure all required closing documents (payoff letters, clear title, taxes, etc.) are present and accurate
• Prepare closing disclosures by accurately inputting all required information to ensure closing requirements are met
• Prepare and distribute draft of closing disclosure to all appropriate parties to ensure conformance to all stated requirements prior to scheduling closing
• Coordinate scheduling process by initiating contact with closer and following standard procedures to ensure closing conforms to all established requirements
• Verify loan closings by following established guidelines set forth by lender to ensure loans are clearing on time and according to customer requirements
• Provide back-up to various department functions when necessary to ensure continuation of department workflow

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 title closing experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
